1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by LifeMed Community Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "LifeMed", "LifeMed Community"). By registering for, accessing or using our services, you ("you", "your", "Member") agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our services. If you have any questions about these Terms or require clarification before accepting them, please contact us at info@lifemedonline.com and we will be happy to assist you.
2. Services Provided
LifeMed Community Ltd offers the following services to health professionals and coaches interested in Lifestyle Medicine:
2.1 LifeMed Community Membership
Our LifeMed Community membership provides access to over 40 weekly online live sessions each year and access to our live session recordings. Live sessions are delivered across four threads: LifeMed Practice, LifeMed Coaching, LifeMed Knowledge and LifeMed Clinical.
Membership also includes access to community platforms including WhatsApp groups and online forums, which provides networking, support, accountability and collaboration opportunities. Discounted rates are available for BSLM (British Society of Lifestyle Medicine) and UKIHCA (UK & International Health Coaching Association) members.
2.2 Roadmap to Success Personalised Programme
Our personalised one-to-one coaching programme includes 6 coaching sessions (60 minutes each) tailored to your specific situation, challenges and goals. You will receive access to the Roadmap to Success video course, worksheets and templates and 12 months LifeMed Community membership. LifeMed Community membership continues once the programme has finished until cancelled.
2.3 Roadmap to Success Group Programme
Our group coaching programme includes 6 group coaching sessions (60 minutes each). The programme includes worksheets and templates to support your journey, access to our WhatsApp group for peer support and accountability and 6 months LifeMed Community membership. Cohorts are scheduled throughout the year with specific session dates provided in advance. LifeMed Community membership continues once the programme has finished until cancelled.
2.4 Roadmap to Success Essentials Programme
Our essentials programme offers self-guided learning at your own pace and is ideal for self-motivated learners who want flexibility and independence. The programme includes access to the Roadmap to Success video course, worksheets and templates access and 6 months LifeMed Community membership. LifeMed Community membership continues once the programme has finished until cancelled.
2.5 Additional Services
We also provide e-learning resources, courses and educational materials, CPD-accredited content and certificates, guest speaker sessions and specialist workshops, and networking and collaboration opportunities within the community.
Coaching Services: One-to-one and group coaching services (including Roadmap to Success programmes) are subject to a separate Coaching Contract which must be agreed to before commencing any coaching programme. The Coaching Contract outlines specific terms relating to the coach-client relationship, session protocols, cancellation policies and confidentiality.
3. Membership and Registration
3.1 Eligibility
Our services are intended for health professionals, coaches and individuals with an interest in Lifestyle Medicine. You must be at least 18 years of age to register.
3.2 Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.3 Account Security
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
4. Pricing and Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
Membership, programme and coaching pricing is displayed on our website and sales pages at the time of purchase. All prices are in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Discounted pricing may be available for members of partner organisations (including BSLM and UKIHCA members) and will be clearly indicated at the point of purchase.
4.2 Promotion Codes
We may offer promotion codes or discount codes from time to time. Promotion codes are subject to specific terms and conditions, including expiry dates and eligibility criteria, which will be communicated at the time the code is issued.
Promotion codes cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or revoke promotion codes at our discretion if they are used fraudulently, in error or in violation of the stated terms.
Discounts applied via promotion codes will be reflected in your initial payment but do not automatically apply to subsequent renewal periods unless otherwise specified.
4.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through our host platform Simplero and payment platform Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.
4.4 Subscription and Auto-Renewal
Membership is provided on a subscription basis. Monthly, 3 Month, 6 Month and Annual memberships will auto-renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for each renewal period until you turn off auto-renewal or cancel your membership.
4.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing members. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply to subsequent renewal periods.
4.6 Taxes
All prices exclude VAT or other applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
4.7 Refer a Friend Scheme
We operate a "Refer a Friend" affiliate scheme which allows existing members (the "Referrer") to refer friends and colleagues (the "Referee") to LifeMed Community membership.
For the Referrer (Existing Member):
All members are automatically enrolled onto our Refer a Friend Scheme, but you are not obliged to participate. You will receive access to your Refer a Friend Dashboard where you can find your unique referral link. You can share your unique link with friends and colleagues through social media, emails, WhatsApp or text messages. When a friend signs up to LifeMed Community, you will receive notification via email and on your dashboard. Once your referred friend has been in the community for more than 7 days (i.e. after their free trial period has ended and they have remained an active paying member), your account will be credited with one month free membership. The free month will be added to the end of your current subscription period and you will be notified when the credit has been applied to your account. There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer or the number of free months you can earn. Rewards are provided as account credits (free membership months) rather than cash or percentage commission payments. If you prefer not to take part in the scheme, you can request to be removed at any time by contacting us at info@lifemedonline.com.
For the Referee (New Member):
When you sign up to LifeMed Community through a referral link, you will receive a special discount of up to 50% off your membership. You will also receive a 7-day free trial to explore the community and decide if it is right for you. You can cancel your membership at any time within the 7-day trial period without being charged. If you remain a member after the 7-day trial period, your Referrer will be credited with one month free membership and you will be enrolled onto our Refer a Friend Scheme.
General Conditions:
Referral rewards are only credited to the Referrer after the Referee has remained an active member for more than 7 days. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or revoke referral rewards if we determine that the scheme has been used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms. Self-referrals or referrals made using multiple accounts to gain rewards are prohibited. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Refer a Friend scheme at any time with reasonable notice to members.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Membership Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at info@lifemedonline.com or through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months or unused portions of annual, quarterly or 6 month memberships.
5.2 Programme and Coaching Cancellations
For programmes and coaching services, cancellations made within 14 days of purchase will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after 14 days or after accessing any content or sessions will not be refunded. Missed sessions or failure to attend scheduled coaching calls will not be refunded or rescheduled unless agreed in advance.
5.3 Session Cancellation and Rescheduling (Coaching Services)
For one-to-one coaching sessions, specific cancellation and rescheduling terms apply as outlined in the separate Coaching Contract. In summary, clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session by emailing info@lifemedonline.com. We reserve the right to not reschedule sessions that are missed or cancelled within 24 hours of the arranged time. If we need to cancel a session, we will offer to reschedule another full session with as much notice as possible. Unused sessions from purchased coaching programmes or blocks may be rescheduled for up to 12 months after the initial session. All unused sessions expire 12 months after the initial session and will not be refunded.
5.4 Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
6. Access and Use of Services
6.1 Licence Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our services for your personal, non-commercial use.
6.2 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others.
- Reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
- Record, screenshot or share live sessions or proprietary materials without authorisation.
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Harass, abuse or harm other members or our team.
- Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
6.3 Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of our services with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 Our Content
All content provided through our services, including but not limited to courses, videos, recordings, worksheets, templates, articles and materials, is owned by LifeMed Community Ltd or third-party content providers and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, where applicable.
7.2 Restrictions
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, transmit or exploit any of our content without our express written permission.
7.3 User-Generated Content
By participating in our community (such as taking part in live sessions, submitting posts, comments or questions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display such content for the purpose of operating our services. If we wish to use your content for promotional purposes (such as testimonials, case studies or marketing materials), we will seek your permission first.
8. Professional Disclaimer
8.1 Educational Purpose
Our services are provided for educational and professional development purposes only. Content provided through LifeMed Community is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
8.2 No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Participation in our community, courses or coaching does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and LifeMed Community Ltd or any of our team members.
8.3 Coach-Client Relationship
For clients engaging in one-to-one (1:1) or group coaching services, the coach-client relationship, roles, responsibilities, boundaries, confidentiality and ethical practice are outlined in detail in the separate Coaching Contract.
8.4 Not Medical Treatment
Coaching sessions with LifeMed Community Ltd focus on professional development, career guidance and personal growth. Our coaching services and educational content are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease and are not intended to replace your GP's (or other medical specialist) professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. We do not provide medical consultations, physical examinations, medical diagnostic tests or investigations, diagnoses or prescriptions for medications. No information on the LifeMed Community Ltd website, in our community sessions or on our social media platforms should be relied upon to make a medical diagnosis or determine treatment for a medical condition. If you have any health concerns, you are strongly advised to consult your own doctor.
8.5 Professional Responsibility
You remain solely responsible for your own professional practice and decisions. You should always exercise your own professional judgement and comply with applicable regulations and standards in your jurisdiction.
9. CPD Accreditation
Where CPD accreditation is offered, it is your responsibility to ensure that the accreditation meets the requirements of your professional body. We provide CPD certificates based on attendance and completion of reflection forms, but we cannot guarantee acceptance by all professional organisations.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using our services, you consent to such collection and processing.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 No Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
11.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifeMed Community Ltd, its directors, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) our services
- Any conduct or content of any third party on our services
- Unauthorised access, use or alteration of your content
- Any other matter relating to our services
11.3 Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11.4 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law. If you are a consumer, you have certain legal rights which cannot be excluded or limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless LifeMed Community Ltd, its directors, employees and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your membership at any time as described in Section 5.
13.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to our community or business.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access and use our services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnification and limitations of liability.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through our platform. Your continued use of our services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must cancel your membership.
15. Third-Party Services
Our services are hosted on Simplero and integrate with third-party platforms including Stripe (payments), Zoom (live sessions) and WhatsApp (community). You may receive communications directly from these platforms on our behalf. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of service of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
17. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, we are committed to resolving matters fairly and in good faith. We encourage you to contact us first at info@lifemedonline.com so we can work together to find an informal resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, we may agree to use an independent mediator. If mediation is unsuccessful or not appropriate, you may pursue formal dispute resolution through the courts as specified in Section 16.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Coaching Contract (where applicable) and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and LifeMed Community Ltd regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
20. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
21. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

23. Acknowledgement
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are engaging in coaching services, you also acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the separate Coaching Contract.
